Cheap vs clever
A low quote that skips backup or proper mounting often turns into an expensive callback. A fair quote covers the motor, labour, remotes, and aftercare. Ask what is in the price, not only the total on the WhatsApp message.
Should I always replace a failing motor?
Not always. Boards, gears, remotes, and limit settings fail more often than the whole unit. A good installer will say when repair is enough, and when replacement is the smarter spend.
